GenjiKilpatricksays...I wonder how other races or Women stack up in this experiment.
longdesays...The very is is kind of heartening.

siftbotsays...Adding video to channels (1sttube) - requested by Krupo.
garmachisays...I'm curious to know if they got in trouble for the call to 911 which ultimately was under false pretenses.

chilaxesays...Cause:
-Even though in both cases bystanders receive informational confirmation of criminal activity, the more statistical indicators of crime that are present, the more urgency the situation acquires.
-Add rap music, the presence of weapons, gang tattoos, and other statistical signals of criminality, and the rate of intervention increases.
-This is the same reason why a woman doing the same thing would elicit a lower intervention rate.
chilaxesays...Dress like an intelligent person, be glad you lucked into being wealthier than most humans around the world, and don't give away your power by being eternally grievance-oriented.
messengersays...I would have dummied the first guy, U-locked his neck to the pole, and hung a sign around his neck, "Bike Thief" and let other cyclists do what they like to him. The black kid, for some reason, I have so much more sympathy for. I would have told him he's being stupid, and to move on or I'd dummy him and lock his neck to the pole.
Also, the same rules apply in grocery stores: http://videosift.com/video/Actors-go-shoplifting

and there was a pretense concluding that I should not ?
*edit- there should be, we should make a sarcasm tag for the internets to know things are in jest.
messengersays...@BoneRemake
Right. Because pretences conclude that people should do things all the time. What are you talking about.

Something along the lines of *<sS> to solicit "sarcasm" to the reader.
because I took your douchy paragraph as literal.
Hope that clears it up chap!
cheerio.
*edit, which I now know means that strike out lettering I have always wondered about.

Trancecoachsays...It's a bit subtler than the clip depicts. Someone raised as a member of the majority in a racist culture projects a certain plausible deniability of malice than a minority is able to project. The minority's implicit air of guilt is further compounded by the inherent racism in the culture as it is escalated in the presence of other members of the majority.
I wonder, then, how many of those white people who called the police/park security on the black kid would have done so if the same incident was going down in a black neighborhood -- where the same sorts of assumed rules of "justice" and equality are not defined by rules laws, but by power and force.
