Still, this is a major disappointment, especially since a mere month ago he said that "it will be attorney general's decision (...) and I don't want to pre-judge that" (1:28)

it has taken almost 50 years to become life threatening...
i fear it may be to the point of being inoperable.
the death knell for the experiment that was is drawing near.
this is my greatest fear.

I don't see how anyone could be that surprised at this. It's not like our democracy stopped functioning and then started up again. It's still not functioning. I voted for Obama even though I knew nothing too significant would change, otherwise he wouldn't have been an option. I was hoping he'd be less war nutty than the extreme war criminals around Bush and eventually McCain.

If you want change it takes hard work and constant organizing. Not pushing a button once every 4 years.
