ponceleonsays...Takes the high road as usual... unlike McCain who took that fake attack on that hoax nutjob and tried to turn it into a campaign issue.
rottenseedsays...It looks like he felt uneasy about the question. I think he is aware of the risks he is taking if he makes it to the White House. Must be a difficult thing to have in the back of your mind.
elyssesays...SECRET SERVICE, BITCHES!
:-D
burdturglersays...Considering Bush survived these last 8 years, I have nothing but confidence in the Secret Service.
dooglesays...He's being strategic.
Don't bring attention to them, unless you want more.
Like the usual bomb threats cities receive. Don't publicise them unless you want others to follow for the attention.
Interesting point he made though, that there isn't enough attention on those groups as marginalised. Weird - I don't recall him making a point about them - perhaps it's a slight reference to the marginalising influence of these groups by the Republicans? Or maybe he's into placating them - which is typical of Obama.
MINKsays...he almost said "bring it on".
8266says...no he didnt ......
13439says...He DIDN'T say "Bring it on".
Because he didn't talk to them.
Or even about them.
And that's what makes it such a classy answer.
quantumushroomsays...The valiant Messiah sighs heavily at the terrible evil and racism that is America, for He is the first Presidential hopeful in history against which any kind of threat has been leveled! And all because of the color of his skin...
The sympathetic White liberal journalist, having already "forgiven" the inevitable riots no matter who wins, grieves for the burden carried by the 21st century fusion of Lincoln, Marx and Donny Osmond.
If only these authentic journalists took the threats of islamofascism and open borders as seriously as they do a couple of yahoos...
moonsammysays...Do you think during the crusades the muslims referred to their enemies as "christiafeudalists"?
Seriously, I've always hated that "islamofascism" term. WTF does that even mean? As near as I can tell islamic terrorists have little to nothing to do with the blending of business and government. It would be fair to call them theocrats, but fascists?
iauisays...Hey... Moonsammy, don't protest so loudly. You'll let the people who use that word know that we simply dismiss their point once they use it... Remember, we just use it to identify points of view with no basis. We don't want them to necessarily think we know they're undermining their point with this rhetoric... especially people like this guy. He's obviously chosen to be ignorant. Either that or he's sick and just needs to be wished well.
May you one day find the truth, quantummushroom. Until then, remember that your points are better made without inflammatory, divisive language.
Remember:
It's better to be quiet and thought a fool, than to speak and be proven one.
blackjackshellacsays...moonsammy, it's obvious that this quantummushroom person is certifiably insane. I wouldn't waste too much time on issues related to "islamofascism". The term you're looking for is "islamic fundamentalism", which is a dangerous problem, acknowledged by the left and the right. It's just that the left wing approach to the problem won't end up creating thousands of new members in a global movement to kill westerners the way that the last eight years of Bush/Cheny and their neocon agenda have. Take that to the bank lunatics.

No because the Muslims had pretty much been minding there own business and were like "What the fuck is going on?!"
8266says...If someone is going to hurt him its going to be our own christian right wing. Sad...
quantumushroomsays...There are certain realities in this world that hardcore moonbats (but not you) simply can't accept. One is that America is the greatest country on God's green earth. Another is that communism and its addle-brained cousin socialism are both failures that calcify the human spirit. A third is that it's beyond foolish to compare the merits of 7th-century savages with the modern West.
While latte-sippers argue the merits of the term, "Islamofascism" the animals themselves are still beating their wives and sisters to death under the guise of "honor killings". They don't have debates, they run knives through the necks of those that disagree with them. And because 9-11 happened so very long ago, it's now OK for you to forget they're out there.
Well, they haven't forgotten you.
The left acknowledges this threat to the West, you say? When? Was it when Sean Penn visited saddam in his palace? Or the string of anti-American, anti-US-military flops being shat out of whoreywood by liberal celebrities? THAT is their 'thank you' to the soldiers who put their lives on the line so they have the freedom to churn out such vile, contemptible crap and show ingratitude to the millions of decent Americans who put as many dollars in their pockets.
You're delusional. You hate Bush (and now McCain) more than bin laden. You sneer at the righteous disposal of a worthless cur like saddam and cluck your tongues at the Iraqis trying on freedom instead of living under a tyrant's whip. Who are you to be ashamed of America, the greatest force for good in this world? Who sapped your values and stole your beliefs? It had to be Bush, right? The same guy that "caused" Katrina? Please.
Do you even know what a "neocon" is? How could you compare this phony term when you don't know the first thing about conservatism except what your media masters and corrupt government schools (and liberalsift) have preached?
And this messiah you have chosen? The One who promises to punish all those evil rich people (who already pay 60% of the nation's taxes). Barry has already covered his ass this week, reminding his staff (with the media watching) that the people who vote for him shouldn't expect too much, right away. In other words, he pumped ya up, and he doesn't want anyone deflating too quickly when they discover he has no special powers.
Divisive language? No doubt. But I'm not sending people to the gallows for violating a fascistic politically-correct speech code.
You should be grateful, you American sifters, for all you have RIGHT NOW, and not pine for what treasures Barry promises to plunder on your behalf.
Am I "insane"? As I 'sift' through stomach-churning comments of hatred towards God and country, the wretched cynicism and bitterness of people too young for either, I half-wish I was insane.
If I insulted thee, I meant it. That doesn't mean I don't love you. I prefer clarity to agreement. And that's how it will be.

It is clear that you put a lot of effort into being one of the dumbest posters on the internet. A point of advice: a little bad grammar and misspelled wording could go a long way.
You're almost there.
joedirtsays...QM,
remind me again who trained and funded bin Laden? Can you please do that, was it islamofascists or terrorists?
Remind me again who has supported Bush's repeated failed businesses, was that the Saudis or the bin Laden family? Which one was it?
Can you remind me again who also trained that other evil do-er, you know the one your wingnut friends use as a curse word, that Hussein guy. Who was it that trained and paid him and helped him take over a country? It's hard to remember because some people now use Hussein as such a bad word.
Remind me again, do we hate Barry because he is muslim, or black? I can't keep my hatreds straight like you do.
