God, what an ugly ugly animal, no wonder it hates the camera (and vice versa).

My guess is the dog doesn't like the the "eye" staring at it.

Staring is a dominance behaviour for dogs, this dog is obliviously not that obedient and is willing to fight to maintain his status.
