This is a response to my previous sifted video of a real life lap around Nordsleife.

In response to this real life video
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I9KXIPCQYC4 , which I have always enjoyed I decided since I can't drive the track in real life why not give it a shot in Need for Speed Shift. Also I wanted to show the masses how accurate NFSS track and physics model is compared to real life. Obviously I am no where near the driver the guy is in the other video. Also I am only driving the 2008 BMW 135i Coupé. I had one major mistake at the banked corner (hate that corner) but other than that an OK but extremely fun lap. My lap time is a modest 8.32.720 Played on Q6600 w/295GTX at 1920x1200, 4xAA and 8X AF with a Microsoft Precision Steering wheel and pedals.

BoneRemakesays...THATS A FUCKIN VIDEO GAME ??????
I new off the beginning but I have been stuck with 1999 technology for five years and Cannot play these new games. Unreal how graphic that is.
JAPRsays...This game looks fucking sweet both physics-wise and graphics-wise.
antsays...Does this game have any car chases or anything? I don't care about beatimg time and stuff.
Selektaasays...Man, this or Forza 3? I can't decide!
Croccydilesays...I had to try this for myself, I did not fare much better with an older Nissan Skyline R35 GT-R. (About the same lap time). Yeah that banked curve is a real nightmare.
It sure was alot of fun though! I've read some reviews comparing it as a GRID wannabe but I thought it was pretty damn close. With all of the driving assists off it is almost identical in physics to Forza.
