From Mythbusters Big Rig episode (Episode 80, Season 5). This part is when the boys recreate a Knight Rider driving sequence in a knock of Kit invoking the spirit of the Hoff.

I remember an episode of Fear Factor where the contestants had to do this stunt under a time limit. I guess they didn't realize it was just a "myth"

Who are the people that didn't think this would work? - seriously.

I assume they didn't really think the thing would "shoot up the ramp," and just wanted to try doing it. It seems the only real risk is to the tires & drivetrain. Well, & missing the ramp.

That is awesome. I really thought the car was gonna hit the ramp and shoot into the truck like a rocket. I need to read some physics books or something i guess.
