^ Don't you think discarding the video would be a more appropriate response. You can always ask someone else to post it. I'm sure there are many sifters who would be more then happy to do so. *discuss

@eric3579 I sent him a private message yesterday with a link to the sift guidelines suggesting he remove it. I guess he ignored it.

Seriously though, take it down and ask a friend to sift it. A lot of sifters make their own videos and other sifters post them. Put a link to your YouTube profile to help guide people there

@G-bar - You've been advised/warned by multiple members and you're seemingly acting blissfully unaware that you're about to be banned for intentionally violating the posting guidelines. Continued inaction after a reasonable time will result in at least a temporary ban.

You're a very long time member, so this is all very surprising and also the only reason you haven't already been banned.

Thanks for the quick reply. Anti-self-linking is one of the core principles of the Sift, so that's why everyone responded so adamantly.

Simply issue a *kill invocation on this post to make it go away. I definitely recommend you take any of the generous sifters' offers to have someone else sift it for you. It obviously is good enough to get published.

hey all, I understand your rational related to personal videos, which can lead to publicity stunts and perhaps other useless videos clogging the sift. But perhaps you're missing the value behind enforcing this rule. or maybe I'm missing it. In any case, I'll be back into my leech mode and be out of your way.
