Misery: the Hobbling scene (ouch, ouch, ouch, ouch....!)

(1990) Novelist Paul Sheldon (James Caan) crashes his car on a snowy Colorado road. He is found by Annie Wilkes (Kathy Bates), the "number one fan" of Paul's heroine Misery Chastaine. Annie is also somewhat unstable, and Paul finds himself crippled, drugged and at her mercy. Bates won the Best Actress Oscar for this role.

I've seen ridiculous amounts of violence and gore through countless horror movies and war footage and have become kind of used to it... but seeing that foot go perpendicular to that bored made me cringe and almost look away...almost.

My feet hurt now One of those "I've seen it on the TV and now I can feel it" pains....
