ha ha ha! silly winderz always trying to be a mac. ballmer would have been a better presenter.

He could've nonchalantly made his way to the desk and switched it there. But nooo, he had to announce what was wrong with the device and paused to replace it lol. Just an amateur presentation mistake.

So if I buy a Surface, will it come with the hot spare that he has?

It probably wasn't crashed. I bet he was trying to interact with a screenshot or something. I'm always trying to click buttons and links in screenshots.

From earlier in the video, it looked like he was having a hard time pulling down some kind of status menu from the top of the screen. Probably a bug in Windows 8, I'm sure.
