Didn't they already do a modern MacGyver in the shape of Burn Notice?

Look, just... just stop. I propose a 5 year moratorium on this bullshit. No more remakes, reboots, reimaginings, retools or re-anything-bloody-else. Write something original for 5 years and then you can go back to the treadmill if you really want.
