Jump Britain (Parkour/Free Running demo & documentary)

An excellent 2005 Parkour documentary in which a group of traceurs travel around Britain to find the best spots, including Sebastien Foucan, Jerome Ben Aoues and the UrbanFreeFlow team. Some of the UKs landmarks featured include Edinburgh Castle and the Forth Rail Bridge in Scotland, the Giant's Causeway and Derry's Walls in Northern Ireland, the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff, the Tyne Bridge in Newcastle and the ICC in Birmingham. It also shows training & techniques plus some of the history and home of Le Parkour in Lisses.

This is the sequel to an earlier Channel 4 Jump documentary, which focused on London's sites:

The free runne rpeople in this are realy cool and layed back but the stupid woman comontator and bbc work on this is crap nice camra work but i dont understand why thay have to imput all this bs comentry.

the frinch guy in this is a good example of the typ of french personalty that is ignord and overloked by the steryotyp manny people have for the french

i really enjoyed the first half of the documentary, but once they actually set out to do the tour of the uk, it got boring. i agree with westy that it is nice camera work, but it seems like they are to focused on the scenery and not on the action of parkour. it just took itself too seriously.

also, i was always under the impression that david belle had started parkour and was confused for the first 15 minutes. but then when they went to visit sebastian in france, i recognized all of the landmarks that were in the first piece i ever saw about parkour/david belle. i'm guessing that they were both part of the same troupe of guys that started it all. controversy settled
