Jim Henson's 1969 Pilot for The Wizard of Id

The Wizard of Id's comedy seems to be a perfect fit for Henson. I wonder if he would have been as successful if he didn't start Sesame Street instead.

Fascinating, purely from a historical and Henson standpoint. However it demonstrates how terrible the humour of the Wizard of Id really is.

So quite right that it didn't get anywhere.
