Jerry Seinfeld does not want to be on Seth Meyers Late Night

From YT--

Make no mistake: Jerry's appearance on Late Night is a total favor.

Screw pre-interviews, seriously.

Didn't really notice or care that much until I started watching lots of Conan O'Brien stuff maybe 3 or so years ago.

Now it really bothers me.

Does EVERYTHING?! have to be scripted.
Do I always have to be sold something?

Oh wait, this is American media.. of course, what was I thinking..

Janussays...

It always did seem like Seinfeld was a bit of a tool to me in the unscripted stuff I'd seen him in. This segment reinforces that perception.

That's what made Craig Ferguson so special. No pre-rehearsed or producer driven interview crap. Just two people talking as if they were friends.

This guy can be such an asshole. His show ran 9 seasons, but his ego has run about 20 and shows no signs of cancellation.

Drachen_Jagersays...

I never found him funny.

Now he's just a humorless douche who doesn't understand why his jokes bomb so he blames his lack of talent on "society".

Guess what? All comedians are constrained by the same society as you, buddy, most of them still find ways to make us laugh.

But seriously, where's the rest of his interview? Was anything else interesting discussed?
