entr0pysays...This is simply what the Japanese are determined to do. We can't stop them. We can't talk sense into them.
SDGundamXsays...That's hugely impressive... I'm amazed at how real it looks.
From the Huffington Post:
In what is surely a terrible omen not only for musicians but also the continued existence of the world as we know it, holographs are now playing sold out concerts in, where else, Japan.
FlowersInHisHairsays...I wanna see the how-to!
antsays...Japanese rocks!
antsays...*livemusic
siftbotsays...Adding video to channels (Livemusic) - requested by ant.
zombieatersays...This surely belongs in the WTF category.
mxxconsays...it's been done before http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G-AhYnjKEzs
kasinatorsays...Miku Hatsune AKA a vocaloid. She is basically a text-to music computer program very popular in japan. They have many different versions each of which carries a different popstar character which they create for different voices.
The really cool part is almost all the songs she performs are created by her fans who post the songs on niko niko douga (smile smile video).
It is definitely a *meme but I cant add this tag myself http://knowyourmeme.com/memes/miku-hatsune-vocaloid You can also check out one of these in one of the vids I posted here: http://videosift.com/video/Text-to-speech-Autotune-Vocaloid
siftbotsays...Invocations (meme) cannot be called by kasinator because kasinator is not privileged - sorry.
vaporlocksays...Another longer version.
