Jamie Oliver - Chicken Nugget Fail

Hot on the heels of that photo of pink goop we call chicken, an older video from Jamie Oliver Food Revolution in which he shows schoolchildren exactly what the chicken nuggets they crave are made of. Except they don't care.

the only realy bad part of the paties is the additives added to them ,

interms of basic food the bones ligiments and other parts are actualy totaly fine as a food sourse the only bad aspect is that they might be high in fat whichis fine. unless u eat allot of food which most westerners do.

In allot of african countries they eat the bones of chikins as they are quite helthy and its waistfull not to.

Im allfor incoraging helthy eating in kids and getting them to understand what is best to eat and why , but this littel demo in the first place is some what retarded.

for example the whole start of this could be aplied to bugs which look realy bad and would for most westerners be totaly off putting to eat but in reality they are incredably helthy to eat and inviromentaly friendly.

most the stuff jami does is good though so ill let him off

I don't get it, take out the chicken skin, and whats not healthy about that ? its frugal and a great way to use all your chicken.

The way he describes it, tendons, bits, fat, blood, cartilage etc.. as apposed to ??? veins, muscle tissue ? ? I dislike how lines are drawn as to whats good and whats bad. Myself I would just as well make a stock out of the remainder.

Just goes to show you how resourceful we are. And when removed from the knowledge of what parts are being used, we decidedly enjoy the foods created with these "spare" ingredients. Bone marrow? EXTREMELY good for you. Chicken skin? Not only tasty, but a moderate amount has the fats your body needs. What's this guy's deal? He's just teaching these kids to be discriminatory food snobs.

My girlfriend eats fish eyes and fish heads. When the zombie apocalypse comes, I'm bunking with her.
