hmm, yes, while the way in which they did it can be considered quite original, the same look could have been achieved in much shorter time by adding the affected footage in post.

I think that kind of misses the point qruel.

I thought the point was to make a cool looking music video for MM.
the end results would have been the same with lots of time saved

The point is that it is supposed to be a painstaking work of art. But yeah, it would have been nice to save some trees. I hope it was all recycled.

The projections remind of the old Talking Heads video for "Burning down the House"

I think it would be quite hard to add the shaky paper thing in post, and that's what gives it its charm.
