My kid made me watch this last night, and I was utterly blown away. This is a highly dangerous stunt that could have killed him. He was wearing body armor and his Mom was in tears before he did the stunt. This isn't a usual submission for me, but I was completely astounded by this unbelievable trick.

(When he hugged his Mom and said, "I'm sorry, Mom...thank you for supporting me" I got a little vaklempt.)

I don't follow the X Games--is this supposed to be the hardest trick to pull off? He did a great job regardless.

Ya...it's never been done in a competition. The build-up was the craziest part, though. His Mom was crying because if he had landed on his head, he could have died. He had said to her, "If anything happens out there, just remember that I love you and I lived my life having fun."

It was a blast to watch.

its cool and everything but still dose it not seem a bit stupid to be so exsited asbout retardatoin. i mean well done u did a duble back flip that is very hard to do. but he would have traind to do it just seems random how everyone makes sutch a fuss over it. maby im just boring. just seems to be a lack of balence as to what people get excited over these days
