rich_magnetsays...That's what makes it perfect. Hockey gets in the way of enjoying the pure element.

Paybacksays...Back to the lake, that has to be AMAZINGLY pure water. Any impurities and you get white ice.

00Scud00says...I generally loathe getting outside in the winter, but that would probably do it for a while. So it's just down to impurities then? I've never seen such clear ice on a lake so I just assumed all lakes froze cloudy.
