quantumushroomsays...How did they ever think this would work?
antsays...Looks like a Terminator!
NaMeCaFsays...How is this fail? It's bloody brilliant! The movement of the robot is so smooth and the "transforming" arm effect was great!
Sure it'd take a lot more work to use it effectively in a feature film, but that shows how good and creative the director is if he pulls it off.
Live action is better than CG any day.
AeroMechanicalsays...Animatronics would indeed be better for some shots, but it's so limiting that you'd have to use CGI for many others. That being the case, it's probably better to just use all CGI for the sake of consistency.
blankfistsays...Not a fail at all. That's some seriously awesome animatronic work right there.
kasinatorsays...*geek *engineering
siftbotsays...Adding video to channels (Engineering, Geek) - requested by kasinator.
mxxconsays...so much effort went into this and they scrapped it
Mcboinkenssays...[redacted]
Reefiesays...Hulk Smash! (someone had to say it...)
With such nimble fingers I bet animatronic Hulk could also strum a pretty good tune on the guitar too
