nsfw*swearing(youtube) Driving through WV, this storm comes out of nowhere. Weather is clear and there is no snow on the road 15 seconds before the video starts recording.
I turned on the video as soon as it started snowing and I knew i was driving too fast for the condition at the time. I let go of the gas instead of braking to slow down knowing that sudden reaction would cause me to lose control.
You can hear me shut off the radio in the beginning of the video. This is when snow started and when i started recording the film. My wipers aren't even on yet.
I brake at 00:4, only to realize that brakes were useless so i let go of them completely to regain control.
I stopped to check for damage about a mile down the road after the incident. Snow has already passed by at this point. I must have seen at least 15 damaged cars left and right within the mile.
Filmed on highway 77 North.
I am NOT on summer tires.
This Evo is a North Carolina car. There are no reasons for me to be on winter tires.
I do not have a crash beam because my IC is too large for one. I am buying a daily driver for winter driving.
Thats not a tennis ball. Thats a Subaru get more g's ball in the passenger side window
Its an evo 8 and it has an evo 9 bumper.
My "ricer" with green rims is fully built making 500AWHP
(me) I put FTW 'cause he made it out without a scratch it seems?

notarobotsays...Seriously. This guy is passing cars on fresh powder?
Also amazing how long he stays to make sure the humans in other vehicles aren't hurt...

SevenFingerssays...I kind of also doubt that "Weather is clear and there is no snow on the road 15 seconds before the video starts recording."
But it may explain all the other cars going as fast. Also that scary semi that followed.

Mandtissays...Maybe when the snow started his time would have been better invested on slowing down/braking, instead of starting his recorder and turning off the music. There is at least 4 seconds of video where visibility is crap, and he does seem to be slowing down at all.
shagen454says...I do not fault him for not sticking around. It is much more safe if everyone who does not become apart of the accident to not stick around which would help create a worse situation for everyone.
