charliemsays...Um...so?
Cops dont use hollow point in the states? They use them here (Australia), fairly standard.
The hague convention is for MILITARY use...cops dont fall under that, fairly certain the DHS doesnt either.

charliemsays...Theyre comin to take your guns man!
....ignore all the other shit they have taken, just keep a hold on your guns!
Sepacoresays...Seems like people who have bulletproof vests aren't the intended targets.. but then doesn't that mean.. hmm, good thing they haven't taken your.. oh wait, never mind.
RedSkysays..."Despite the ban on military use, hollow-point bullets are one of the most common types of civilian and police ammunition,[citation needed] due largely to the reduced risk of bystanders being hit by over-penetrating or ricocheted bullets, and the increased speed of incapacitation."

I have always been curious why police would opt for lethal over generally non-lethal plastic bullets in the first place though.
lantern53says...Non-lethal plastic bullets? That's one of the dumbest things I've ever read.
bacallsays...Hollow point bullets are in common use in U.S. law enforcement. Police and sheriff deputies carry them. The DHS has 200,000 employees, that means ~2,000 rounds per employee. Since they have to train with the type of ammo they use ie hollow point. This sounds like about the right amount of ammo to qualify with your weapon at the range a couple times a year.
charliemsays...Hollow point is ammo designed to stop people. FMJ is to wound.
Wounding a meth head on a machete rampage is not an option.
chingalerasays...*kill
siftbotsays...Permanently discarding this video - kill requested by chingalera.
