Hillary Clinton Crying- "This is Very Personal"

This election is coming to be one of the biggest elections yet... However, at the same time, the race for the demo. nomination is just outragous...

I find it ironic of how Hillary was behind two days before the NH vote when this video came up and suddenly two days later, she pulls an upset...

I don't agree with those 'lies, terrible' tags. The lady is in constant scrutiny, much more so than Obama because of personality and public image. I think she did get a bit emotional from all that criticism and sheer weight of the situation. Would it kill you to give her a break and actually believe that it was real?

Besides, I did not see a single drop of tear from that woman's ice cold eyes, Just a little choked up. And yet again media over reacts and has a field day over this, because why? What's the reason?? Constant scrutiny man, constant scrutiny.

And let's just say if it really was acting? (which I don't believe, just exaggerated) Even better. She's a ruthless girl playing the dirty politics, still hanging in there, still trying to win this thing. Just because you don't like the candidate's image, you fail to see their quality as a great president. Ruthlessness, cunning, patience, and sheer tenacity to stick to it even when things get really bad. A fighter dang nammit, a fighter!

I mean, yea sure you don't like Hillary's image, but what does that have to do with running a country? People voted for George Bush because he was a more likable and 'down to earth' candidate than Al Gore. They also voted for Jimmy Carter because he was a 'good person'. Ever read about Jimmy Carter? Huh? Did ya?

Let's say you voted for Al Gore. I bet it wasn't because you were swooned over by his dynamic personality, but because of his experience in Clinton administration and his professionalism. George Bush was the opposite, and people voted for him instead because they 'liked' him better. What a great president he came out to be. And yet personalities still has a strong influence in this matter in this election.

And yet, we have yet another similar scenario. Hillary wielded a heavy hand during Clinton Administration as well and doesn't have a favorable personality just like Al Gore. And again, less experienced candidates like Obama are in larger favor because people just 'like' him better. The hell is that all about?

Hillary's been facing criticism and negative public popularity her entire campaign and yet she's still here, still trying to make it. So despite whatever your beliefs are and why you support other candidates, consider these qualities as well.

What a shallow country we live in, especially youngins. People under the mental age of 30 shouldn't be allowed to vote (aka 70% of the nation).

I think this is an interesting clip, and I would love to vote up, but the tags make it impossible for me. Lies? Terrible? That's an opinion. Tags should be about facts.

Hell, she didn't even cry. She got choked up. We have way more hystrionics than that on the election news every night. Also, I think you might want to look up the word "ironic." It doesn't mean, "suspicious sneaky thing that pisses me off."

As soon as this is sifted, you can change anything you want for this, however, I'm one of the many people who believe that this woman is just outragous... If you want to change the tags, be my guest... if this gets sifted, make any changes you want...

Trust me though, look up this story and you will see that there is something sneaky behind this and as I stated before "I find it ironic of how Hillary was behind two days before the NH vote when this video came up and suddenly two days later, she pulls an upset"...

oxdottirsays...

I support your right to think she's atrocious. It just seems weird to use lies and terrible as a tag. Just my opinion, but I would rather you put it in the title (and description, and comments). I would not change your tags or title, sifted or not.

I also think you mean that you find it disgusting, suspicious, appalling, indicative of manipulation, or just fucked that "Hillary was behind two days before the NH vote when this video came up and suddenly two days later, she pulls an upset." For it to be ironic, you would have to believe that what you see as a manipulative show for affect had a widely, and humorous, unintended consequence, and if I understand you, you think she did this on purpose, to garner sympathy,... and it worked.

I spent the day talking to people about Hilary, and I think more people dislike her for crying...a candidate for crying, her in particular for crying...than like it. So I don't see how this would have led to her increase in NH, but I have the impression that you think it worked for her.

mas8705says...

Wow Oxdottir, you read me like a book there... everything that you said is exactly what I was thinking about this whole video, especially that last part... I agree with you that when we are looking for a president, last thing you would want to see is to see someone cry over something like this... However, I was actually finding it funny for not only this, but also what was said about this on the radio shows and reports...

(I apoligize in advance if anyone finds the following offensive)

I want to stay as neutral as I can during this race, but when I watch Hillary on the TV, I see someone who doesn't seem to take this seriously like the other canadates and believes that just because she was the first lady when Bill Clinton was in office, she is more qualified than the rest of the people running to be president...

legacy0100says...

Not taking it seriously? Whut?

Then how did Al Gore not get elected even after being a Vice President? Hell, he was around Bill more than Hillary, who was so ambitious and nosy during the beginning of Bill's administration that public wanted her to shut up for awhile, and that she did. I doubt anyone remembers that whole event back in the early 90s.

Again I think she's just doesn't appeal to the younger generation with her stiff, fake, devious image. That's why the young generation loves straight talkers like Ron Paul and Obama. But judging presidential candidates by their personality alone can lead to a huge disaster, as we've recently noticed with Bush Jr. and couple of other candidates throughout the years.

I don't expect anyone to change their mind about Hillary. But I'd rather not have someone speculate all these oddity against her either, saying that she doesn't take the presidency seriously or somehow that being the first lady gave her the edge in this election etc. What the hell is that all about? There's no quotes or grounds as to prove that. It's just the result of her bad image. Something that's been conjured up, because she 'seems' like the person that would do that.

All that speculations comes from just her negative public image. How it came to be that way? I have no clue, but it certainly don't make them true.

gee, i wonder how many people would jump all over the shit of a candidate who said the same words while pounding on the podium with passion and intensity. Oh wait, NO ONE because MALE candidates pull that macho crap all the time and people admire them but gahd forbid a female show some emotion!

ANd yet, if Hilary (who I am not voting for) were to try being steadfast, stern and seem passionate like a man, everyone would snark about how cold and bitchy she is. She can't win, in any sense of the word.

dystopianfuturetodaysays...

It looks genuine to me. Remember that Hillary has been beat up by the media worse than any other American woman in the public eye. I believe that she believes she is doing the right thing, so I wouldn't call this a lie or an act.

I also happen to believe she is the Neo-con's top candidate for 2008.

Go ahead and empathize with her, but please don't vote for her.

"Tags should be about facts."

Really? I'm not sure what facts the "Wtf" tab is supposed to denote. Or what about the "Awesome" tag? Pretty much no way to determine whether or not there is a fact of the matter about something being awesome or not.

oxdottirsays...

By the way, when I said above, "I support your right to find her atrocious," I meant just that. It doesn't mean that I find her atrocious. In fact, if the primary were held today, that's who I would vote for.

I just support anyone's right to reach their own position, and to argue for that position.

I'm not making a big deal of this. I just felt like I had misrepresented myself.
