Dllemsays...His only other incident in the past 17 years (the crash in Santa Monica) was due to mechanical issues. You could debate whether a 74-year old man in general should be flying solo, which I think is a decent argument. Most pilots retire at age 65.
Given the number of near misses and accidents he's had... isn't it time for him to give his license up?
