The title and tags do not make it clear that this is what the President of the United States was doing on 9/11/2001. Editing the post to make that clear would get you a lot more votes.

The home video here seems to indicate that Bush was probably told of the first plane attack before he arrived at the school. Andrew Card then told him of the second attack while he read along with the class.

In DC that day, though, I remember that information was very poor. I remember picking up my student loan check after I was told of the first plane (the person telling me the news thought it was an ultralight plane or something of that sort). It wasn't until my wife called me and from downtown and said that she could see the Pentagon smoking that I raced into DC. I, too, got that "oh f&%k, s*$t, f&%k " deer-in-the-headlights look.

wtf? What is the point of watching this video, if they removed the most important part. When he was told of a second plane, and when he sat there.. mulling over what to do.

It is all there at around minute 4:30 or so through to the end. But it doesn't have the "Sinners in the Hands of an Angry God" narration provided by Michael Moore.

"Deer in the headlights"? Is that supposed to be a criticism, because you don't like him? I feel better knowing that so many of you other people would have known EXACTLY what to do!! You'd jump up in a panic, strap on an M16 and go fuck up Osama, if you were President right?
