My VW Corrado did that on me on once, on a way too fast drive up a circlar highway onramp. (Glenn highway to Muldoon road in Anchorage) (Maybe 65 mph on a 30mph onramp) It scared me good, but the car seemed to drift precisely and remain controllable, I stayed angled for the remainder of the turn much to the amazement of my brother in law riding with me.
