I remember McCains little smirks and looks he would have when Ron Paul spoke, always made me want to punch him right in the nose.

But then it would be the Paul-Palin ticket.

I'm willing to bet that all of the Ron Paul videos get more total votes here on videosift than McCain gets in the election.

I would have loved to see Obama v. Paul for the Presidency. I must admit, I would have voted for Ron Paul.

It is so unfortunate that he did not get the nomination, if the republican party had any ounce of intelligence and truly wanted to reclaim they're namesake after bush, then they should have nominated Ron Paul. I absolutely hate the dualism our country likes to segregate everything into, I was all for voting Paul had he been in the final run. Fuck Republican/Democrat, people should vote for what is right for the country as a whole, this is not an election for prom king & queen it's the fucking presidency.

Republicans don't want an intelligent candidate. It makes them feel inferior. They want a candidate that can be packaged and sold like a Big Mac (with a side of Palin).

Ron Paul's problem was he didn't have any bumper sticker slogans or ideals. Everything said was long-winded (which it should be). Unfortunately, here in the states we have a short attention span.
