Zonbiesays...Hang on? Did I miss soemthing - did BoA hack anyone or is he talking about them being hacked themseleves? Because the difference between hacking and being hacked is pretty big.
marblessays..."Pentagon reveals 24k documents stolen." Bullshit.
Only documents stolen from the Pentagon were documents they wanted stolen, either to have an excuse to crack down on internet freedom or give dis-information to China, Russia, etc., or both.
If I leave a sack full of money on my front lawn and someone steals it, whose fault is it?
Not saying that hackers can't hack into big targets, but there's so much low hanging fruit out there that hackers with malintent aren't going to waste their time and expose themselves to big threats. And if the Department of Defense is so incompetent to put sensitive files on the www, then we have bigger problems to worry about than hackers.
bareboards2says...The CABLE NEWS CHANNEL THAT PILES ON is complaining about being piled on?
This is the biggest pile of shit -- way to confuse the issue.
Just shut up, just SHUT UP.
KnivesOutsays...Seriously, this is totally retarded. There are no words to describe how stupid this is.

There are, 2 to be precise: Fox News
xxovercastxxsays..."Everybody is doing it" is their excuse for everything.
Biased? We're just countering everyone else's bias!
Dishonest? We're just countering everyone else's lies!

heropsychosays...They're deflecting the moral issue of a news media outlet doing this stuff. Hacking is one problem, but hacking is also a tool. Nobody has an issue with the US military hacking an enemy's computer systems. The question is more WHY someone is hacking. In this case, it's a morally reprehensible justification - to sell newspapers at all moral cost.
Sagemindsays...I don't think a "Public Apology" is good enough.
They have an empire built on lies and theft. They should be put out of business and THEN punished.
These aren't kindergartners - "OK Johnny, say sorry to Jane - good, everything's now fixed, now go play nice in the sandbox"
