Larger cichlids, like the oscar in this clip, are actually very social and intelligent fish, and probably benefit from this kind of interaction with their keepers.

Oscars are like doggies as far as pets go....less grooming, dander, and shots.....Oh, and nothing like a little carnivorous diversion instead of television....they love live fishies smaller than them!!!!

I have seen these fish at friend's place. The're cool. TYhey like to get attention. My goldfish, tropical fish, crayfish, etc. also like my attention. I think all they want is food. LOL.
