What amazed me wasn't chasing balls down stairs: it's plucking the one mouse (which I'd not even noticed) out from the balls.

They always have their favorites, he'll probably take it and hide it away in whatever nook he keeps all his best toys. If they take a liking to a human they may even try to drag them away, unsuccessfully. (usually)
