Westy, it's not a french train. It's the ICE. It's the German equivalent to the TGV.

I have no idea whether this guy actually died of leukemia - personally, I was hoping for a low-lying tunnel or something to come along.

This is mark III of the german ICE train. It´s one of the world´s fastest railtrains and reaches a speed of 330 km/h (which should be something like 200mph).

Stupid, yet impressive. You got to have some very reliable equipment to do that i suppose.
