MarineGunrocksays...I'm not sure what I heard, but I know I liked it.
What is reverberation?
kronosposeidonsays...MarineGun:
Here's a Wikipedia article on reverberation if you're inclined to learn more, but the short answer is that reverberation defines the persistence of sound after it's been created, and it's closely related to echo. Big upvote.
I loved this too, deedub. It's hauntingly beautiful. I also liked how they chose natural sounds without using electric instruments.
MarineGunrocksays...Oh, thanks for the link, KP, but I looked it up after I posted that comment.
deedub81says...*requeue
siftbotsays...Re-queueing this video for one more try; last queued Thursday, November 1st, 2007 7:40am PDT - requeue requested by submitter deedub81.
Fadesays...is it just me or isn't this sustain rather than reverb?
CaBhaalsays...This is one of the coolest things I've heard in a long time.
Irishmansays...Sustain comes from the instrument itself, reverberation is the continuation of the sound when the instrument is no longer producing any sound.
Wonderful post.
djsunkidsays...SURELY that isn't even CLOSE to the most reverb in Europe. I mean, really?
There is an abandoned grain silo outside of Montreal that has a 29 second reverb. You used to be able to play with it at
http://www.silophone.comhttp://www.silophone.net but that site seems a bit broken atm.
lurgeesays...WOW!!!
Deanosays...*bravo
siftbotsays...Adding video to channels (Bravo) - requested by Deano.

siftbotsays...Reverb project - take 2 (backwards) has been added as a related post - related requested by lurgee on that post.
