It's a short video - for all you know he did just that during a previous song. Certainly the woman on stage doesn't seem at all surprised or put off.

Is this... Is this performance art? Some kind of post-modern commentary on wedding DJs?

I hate to be the first to suggest it, because it puts me in the limelight, but there are people who are into .. uh... being slapped around, or slapping others around. Admittedly not usually whilst DJing a wedding, but maybe that's part of the thrill for them..

Does not compute for me. Seems like it'd be pretty damn easy to prove it so without having to remove your page....assuming it's true.
