For the alt-fact conspiracy believing nincompoops, I'm afraid this video is not good enough to convince them. They'll dispute the heck out of the video as a "fake setup."

I can think of:

1) Need to zoom out more so the sensor is clearly shown to be attached to the monitor at all time

2) no cutting out frames (speed up segments are OK?),

3) show the effect on the indicator's ### by not having the sensor attached to the finger (e.g. drops down to 00 or Error), and,

4) show the number by holding the breath (nostrils pinched & mouth closed) for an extended time to see it drops significantly as verification.

Even if he did the video again with all of that clarified it wouldn't satisfy the nutters because they'd say he was a paid shill, fake news, part of the conspiracy or not even a doctor because he looks sort of like some other guy who is an actor so it's clearly a false flag.

True enough. The only thing that can save them is for all of them to catch the "fake-ass" Covid-19. If only Covid-19 can discriminate only infect the alt-fact believers. US politics is so f'ed up.

Not that I'm naive enough to think there's even a minuscule chance of converting a single one of them to see the light, still, it's better not give them any shovels to dig deeper into the rabbit hole.
