Or make one. It's just a freakin membrane of black liquid with a light under it. I can't think of the name of the children's toy. But they have stuff similar to this. I don't think it would be that hard to make.

yeah, make one. the liquid would be the hardest part.

yeah, I also had one of those children's drawing tablets with a fluid in it...it was a bit different though, because when you drew something on it, it stayed that way, and the drawing didn't disappear after a few seconds...

anyway, I don't think it's easy to make one yourself...and 1200GBP is not THAT incredibly much for a piece of furniture, especially if it's such a cool one...
