That might be true. Or it could just be crack. I checked his facebook page... he has been doing well since this took place.... So, yes, probably is a mental issue but could be crack or meth. If you ever go to 16th and Mission (lived two blocks away for many, many years) you'd know what I mean. That is to say that shit like this happening is not uncommon which is why I was sorta cold to the issue.

And yeah, that is a good point, even if it were drug related... mental health services need to be majorly upgraded. This guy had to stay at the ward but they let him go. Maybe he was, alright? I have no idea.
