UmberGryphonsays...A mixture of 2 parts water and 3-4 parts cornstarch is often called Oobleck, after a Dr. Seuss story. It behaves as a solid when compressed and a liquid when uncompressed. Vibrating it must give it a split personality as it goes from compressed to uncompressed rapidly.
