A few things to say about this one...

There are no Eskimos living in the Yukon. We're pretty much limited to the NWT, Nunavut, and Quebec/Labrador.

I know several gay eskimos. They are quite normal as far as homosexuals go.

We don't have "tribes".

I've never heard of any Eskimo named Tarka. Nuckfluck Upchuck, however, is a real name, and does in fact wear whaleskin tights.

I hate cultural ignorance like it. I hate it more when this ignorance is celebrated on the sift.

^ woah, woah woah. it's comedy playing to stereotypes. you don't think they're aware how erroneous what they're singing is? part of the reason it's funny is because it's absurd.

well i err on the side of they were trying to destroy stereotypes by saturating us with them.

But I need to qualify that, because I fell in love with this song in uni. Someone gave me the mp3, and i used to study, 60 hours without sleep, and play this song (and a few others of course) over and over. I must of listened to this a few hundred if not a thousand times. So glad I have FINALLY SEEN what happens in the oasis parody
