The thing about Coldplay is that while they often have good tunes the execution is so miserably limp and dull. Then there's Martin's eccentricities which seem to drive the band, the rest of whom might as well be a backing musicians.

It's hilarious if you imagine while you're watching it that what you're hearing is the audio they really performed... The oh so serious looks on their faces while they're making those awful sounds with their instruments and voices is just hilarity.

I'm gonna feel a little L7 having to ask this, but seeing as I've never listened to Coldplay live or studio.. where is the audio from? Is it some guy making a bad imitation of the band (obviously on purpose), or is it an actual Coldplay song.. or is it one of their songs with the audio tweaked to sound as horrible as possible? lol..

In the actual video, which I painfully watched for comparison, the lead singer says the drummer is "the best drummer in the world."
