Yeah, why are their mouths doing that thing? Was this just the old Matt Groening style?

I remember seeing the Simpons on the Tracy Uhlman show for the first time, but I don't remember their mouths being like that.

This was when it was matt actually drawing the characters. He just designs them now and other people draw. He admitted that he can't actually draw Bart the way he appears in the modern cartoon
