It's comical how slow these cars are compared to the F1 guys, who finish a lap a full 60 secs ahead of these guys. That's an eternity in racing.

Was just there yesterday for the F1 race. Great track.

The pass of the blue car comes at 11:05 if you're interested...our protagonist has been doing a better job of braking into the corners for the first 10 minutes---getting closer and closer on each deceleration for each corner---and finally takes the blue car at a corner...

Then, amusingly, he gets passed by the two blue cars working together (drafting, which requires less horsepower at speed; it's why they pass him on the straightaway)---at about 12:30...

Off the track at 23:30---from his comments---he thinks he hit a slick of someone else's radiator fluid
