Chain Surfing

Amazing balance!
EDDsays...

At first I was sure it's real, but after seeing two replays I call it fake.

-the guy would've fallen backwards at 0:26 and 0:32, because there's clearly no balance; he's leaning too far back.
-the chain pole isn't moving (the vertical distortion line helps indicate this).

But it's impressive nonetheless. Although if the shadows had been made a little bit better, I'd probably had dismissed the calls for fake completely. They were really nicely done and I can't indicate a single specific moment where to nitpick on, but they just seemed 'unreal' throughout the whole 10 or so seconds of 'surfing'.

This does seem unreal I admit.

But when searching for this clip I ran across another one where Pro skating Legend Christian Hosoi does the same thing on a chain in San Diego: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-gSOz21jOKk

His moves are not as extreme, but I think this is quite possible to do with a bit of practice and if you are flexible and have good balance.
It might be even easier with the extreme swinging motion than when standing still.

Remember, there are lots of people out there with amazing body skills. Just look at David Elsewhere, his movements seem fake too if you apply the same standards.
