"Ave Maria" is a popular Christmas tune. I know, because when I was a kid my mom stacked the Christmas vinyl on the record player and two versions of this song were on those records. It's a beautiful piece of music. Though I'm an atheist now, when I hear this song I still get a wistful feeling for a time in my life when Santa was real and the whole holiday season seemed magical.

Her voice fails to touch me for some reason. My personal favourite of Ave Maria is Schuberts Ave Maria sung by Andrea Bocelli, which I just HAD to post here http://www.videosift.com/video/Schuberts-Ave-Maria-sung-by-Andrea-Bocelli , has moved me to tears more than once.
