I love the people getting out of their cars. It's like "oh, I don't want all this steel around me when the collision comes. Let me be unprotected!"

There's some basic rules if the roads are like that but nobody every gets to practice them.

The first being that if it's snowing like that it's a good idea not to drive unless it's an emergency or if you know how to stop.

Other things include using your breaks correctly by pumping your breaks and not constantly keeping it pressed down.

The stupidity of the people getting out to the cars is quite amazing. Almost had a few Darwin award candidates.

pumping your brakes in a newer car is a BAD idea. you only need to pump them if you DON'T have ABS (Anti-lock Braking System).

I think the current system works pretty well. I mean really - what else can we do but check tags and titles to look for similar posts? I don't think submit length would be very practical for finding dupes. But, it might make a nice optional field.

I agree and I am not saying there is a better way, it's the nature of the beast with video and anyone being able to take the same piece of video and upload it to various sources. Just saying it would be great "if" there was a better/foolproof way. Who knows maybe someone will figure out a way to come up with some embedded bit that can ident/track videos but will be transparent to the users.
