Camaro catches fire and burns inside transport trailer

This video shows the owners of a burning 1969 Chevy Camaro berating Ill. firefighters for their response Saturday afternoon.

A woman yells, ”Oh, my God!” and “Water!" before screaming, “Is this your first fire?”

The Arlington Cardinal reported that the vehicle became fully-involved with flames as firefighters connected to the hydrant and charged the line. The fire was extinguished within about five minutes.

The Camaro was on display at a high school charity show and somehow caught fire while being transported home in a trailer.

Could we get that cameraman to record all future youtube videos? That's how it should be done.

I'm sure she's justifiably emotional after having seen her most valuable possession go up in flames... But lady, have you seen what happens if you turn on a fire hose without proper setup???

Once you have a fire like that start up - what you really want is for the flames to get strong enough to do a significant amount of damage.

What you don't want is an insurance adjuster saying, "We can just fix that" because it will never be the same, ever - Your best option is replacement of destroyed property. (In this case the car and the trailer.

And, hey, they almost got a new pickup truck as well.

Damn straight. Nicely filmed. Multiple angles, each held for a good time with a stable camera so we could see what was going on.

That thing was toast before the crew even showed up.

Can't stand people like that anyway. Muscle cars are to be driven, not trailered. 1955 Mercedes 300SL "Alloy"? Fuck ya, two floor trailer with a/c and floor to roof low-e glass tinted sides. Camaro? Please. If you're not behind the wheel you're a poser.
