C-Span caller rails against 'Black-span'

A caller to C-Span this morning, who identified himself as a Republican from North Carolina, accused the network of taking too many phone calls from black people.

As much shit as Obama was given over his "cling to guns and religion" comment, when you read it in it's proper context, you realize he was absolutely 100% dead-on correct:

You go into some of these small towns in Pennsylvania, and like a lot of small towns in the Midwest, the jobs have been gone now for 25 years and nothing’s replaced them. And they fell through the Clinton administration, and the Bush administration, and each successive administration has said that somehow these communities are gonna regenerate and they have not. So it’s not surprising then that they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren’t like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations.

Hopefully we'll start getting a good economy again, and some of the heat will fade out of these guys.

This is one of those videos that has me fraught with indecision. Do I upvote it for bringing the matter to public attention or not upvote it because of the ignorance and blatant stupidity of the caller in the video...?

In those cases I upvote, unless the tags or channel assignments are troll-ish.

I've been stuck with a similar line of thinking. But I'll run with KnivesOut input and start upvoting them to get attention.

I'm sure it was just the "customer is always right" mentality; Don't argue, just let them make their complaints. Even though somebody ought to tell this guy off, CSPAN isn't in the business of preaching.

I do love the way he says "George Bwoosh", though.

wait.... he appreciates this input??????
