drforeverclearsays...Measuring an impressive 37
NTBHave wanted this since the fist time i saw it.
budzosI'm 30 and from a very young age I've been a LEGO purist. This is not LEGO. LEGO is a series of blocks and basic components from which you can build ANYTHING. What we see here is a very complicated and ugly model kit, put out by a company using the LEGO name.
gorillamanYeah, when I was a kid I never liked the really specialised kits because you couldn't pull them apart and use those atypical blocks to make something else, which surely is the whole point of LEGO.
drforeverclearsays...i'm sure the pieces you use to put this together can also be made into whatever else you'd like to make with 1500 lego pieces.
gorillamanAs long as it's grey of course.
dw1117I give it a upvote for being so dorky. This is why the geek channel was created.
jasonycsays...The Darth Vader march theme would go well with this video for extra geek credit.
I've never really been a big Lego fan (although I did dabble in some Legoing as a child), but the patience alone in building any complicated model (beit Lego or whatnot) is a big merit in itself.
Nice job, guys.

pragmaticksays...that is gigantic
SemiapiesI have to concur, building the design it comes with is ehn.
I wonder whether you could make a nice LEGO aircraft carrier out of those parts.
cobaltsays...budzos: you do realise that this kit mainly uses generic grey plates right? Its not like the bionical crap that uses specialised pieces for everything. This is one of the few kits still sold by lego which *does* conform to the original principles.
I've got it and its bloody amazing but too big to put on display in my small room. I've constructed many other things from the pieces although I was most proud of the Type 42 destroyer.
