Im extremely surprised she couldnt find work as a model. Shes got the perfect figure for today's models, and they don't come any taller than that! Hopefully she can find a way into that.

Models over 6' are usually plus sized as it's hard to fit anyone that height into a size 4 or smaller due to their bone structure. Sadly the fashion industry has a pretty specific size range 5'8"-6'. There are very few outside of these measurements.

So in standard agencies, models are desired to be thin and tall but not too tall. However, there are so many different niches in modeling she might be able to find something.

In addition to what @Lann said, she also probably lacks the coordination to move gracefully and if she's having all this pain now, the last thing she needs is to be holding unnatural poses for long periods of time.
