dagsays...Comment hidden because you are ignoring dag.(show it anyway)
This music is so iconic, I could never associate a single note of this with anything else.
Zonbiesays...fantastic!
Farhad I tried to find this and could not find it a while ago, thanks for sifting this! I love this movie, The very definition of 'Cult Classic'
You know, more than anything else, I love the fact that 27 years later and it does not have a terrible '80s scifi' feel
Brilliant!
Next subject: Kowalski, Leon. Engineer, waste disposal. File section: New employee, six days.
Farhad2000says...Sifted this because I just got the Final Cut of Blade Runner in glorious HD. Will be watching it as soon as I get my MKV Media Player.
Crakesays...Sweet. I just saw the directors cut last week for the first time, with the unicorn dream and so on, finally made sense... but I still don't get the eye with reflections of the skyline... is it the replicant who gets the voight-kampff test's eye?
nickreal03says...From the main scene I think most things are real already the only missing thing I think are the flying cars.... But we have helicopters... does that count?
budzossays...I love this movie. I bought the big huge Blu-ray collection the day I got my big LCD. Then I snapped the Final Cut disc in half pulling it out of the case.... fortunately the set includes another disc with the other three versions of the film, assembled from the same re-master as Final Cut.
So be careful with your blu-ray discs kids... from what I've seen they're a bit more fragile than DVDs.
Farhad2000says...I hope the blu-ray transfer is good as the 8K transfer for Baraka which for me is the benchmark for blu-ray HD films.
budzossays...I came back to upvote this even though I hate to see highly visual cinema portrayed in Youtube crap-o-vision. Since the post focusses on the music I'll relent and throw you a vote.
