I love the part where he's opening his door at the end so that the water can empty out of the cab.

Basically he just needed his truck to flood enough that the wheels could skitter off the bottom of the stream and get him some movement in the right direction.

It looked like he was trying to just float across, but ended up not getting enough momentum in the right direction.

Did he see the road ahead was flooded?
