Argumental - Are Threesomes Best Imagined Or Experienced?

I do feel they both deserve a round of applause for being able to be articulate in such close proximity to those magnificent bewbs.

From people that I've talked to who have had the experience- I have heard that the reality is definitely not like the fantasy. Awkward, awkward, awkward.

I'm sure that's not the case for people who engage in a long-term "triad" type relationships- but I've only talked to people who engaged in experimental trysts.

The discussion about changing positions can be awkward enough when it doesn't require achieving a consensus amongst three people, not to mention the rock-paper-scissors aspect of the mechanics of the positions themselves.

It's always the guys who are married and haven't had nor ever will have a threesome that say, "I've heard threesomes are not fun." Trust me, those grapes are probably very sweet and not sour at all.

[sigh] you could be right. I just know how awkward single partner sex can be, when you don't know the person well- so it seems probable that the awkwardness is compounded.>> ^blankfist:

Have you ever had awkward sex with one partner? You can have it with two.

Have you ever had comfortable sex with one partner? You can have it with two.

And just like the reality of one-on-one sex often not being like the fantasy, threesomes have the same capacity.

I'm not quite sure how these concepts are difficult.

I've had a threesome once and it was horrible, mainly because of the inexperience of the 2 girls.

If I were to ever have one again, the women would have to be into one another. That's the big key. There's no way a guy, as ignorant and selfish as we are, can approach handling and satisfying 2 women at the same time, and definitely not without pissing one or the other off. The women need to keep each other occupied as well.

I think it is possible to have a successful threesome, it's just harder to find. Sexual compatibility is a crap-shoot on its own. Now you add another person, and you're reducing your odds dramatically.
